Nearly done with my Orthopaedics Rotation

A lot of things has happened:
I got the A&E training post,
I was posted to orthopaedics for training
and then I am now at the end of the posting.

It was quite tough to be in orthopaedics cause the working hours are long and there is always some study/journal club/review going on. But at the end I think I have learnt quite a lot from it.

KWH Surgery

Still has not gotten used to work here. Everything feel so messy. And super busy.

1st day in KWH Surgery

1st day. Did not too bad. Managed to finish off the work before 1pm. It will take me sometime to get used to their routines, and I guess i will work much faster later.

No more Episiotomy!!

Well... done with the 3 months in OBS/GYN
I have done 30 cesereans....not too many
I have repaired countless perineal wounds.
I have delivered 0 baby...because I was too busy
Now I have touch more vulvae then an ordinary man (and even woman) in his/her whole life.

The Center of the World

Now I am working in the place where life is created (or Lost). The Labour Ward. Quite busy sometimes, but tolerable. Plus I get a call room all for my self. But it is hard to get out of it, for the dreadful crash caesarean section.

BTW, now I am playing the Nintendo DS game called Animal Crossing-wild world. Anyone has the same game and wants go join?

PWH O&G for one month

Well.. not bad at all... it is very tiring, and very busy. Plus I get to work with Annie in the same department. Learnt quite a lot. the call is very tiring and usually means no sleep.
